The Chamonix Valley is famous for its old history of palaces and luxury accommodation. The Majestic Hotel has since been transformed into an apartment building, but if you are interested in Chamonix history and architecture, a visit to this monument would definitely be worth your time. You will find it near the tourism office and the "Office the Haute Montagne".
