Graphic Design Contest of Auberge du Manoir de Chamonix: the winners!

20-03-2013

The Auberge du Manoir organized an unique graphic design contest during the winter 2013. We offered to mountains and fresh air lovers to show their creativity skills by representing the Auberge in a unsual or extraordinary places, outside of Chamonix! As a result, the Auberge travelled throughout the world and even the entire universe. Let's see the winners and their artwork below.

From Chamonix to the Arctic Ocean: our bed and breakfast is a snow lover!

The first prize artwork is intitled « The Auberge Exile ». Its creator, Laëtitia Chamekh, a young Grenoble School of Art student, says: « I'm very interested in the post-production work. I can spend more than 6 hours just fine-tuning a single photography ». Her creation is a proof of this passion: an astonishing and enlightened result for our contest that invites the viewer to rest and contemplate.

We really loved the serenity of this photo. To find out more about Laëtitia and her work, see her Facebook page .

New place for the Auberge: the middle-age forest

At the second place, here is a Justine Causse's creation inspired by the « Where is Waldo? » albums. Justine studies communication and media at IAE Savoie-Mont-Blanc in Annecy. According to her, this contest was a great opportunity to appraise her creation skills. Successful outcome as she won the second prize (a night for 2 and a paragliding session) thanks to her middle-age trip!

The Auberge certainly needed a little bit of green and leafy landscape in the middle of this wonderfully snow-covered ski season!

Heat and desert for an « on-the-road » hotel

Third prize winner is Cyntha Fourgnaud with a unique Auberge-on-the-bridge photoshoped pic. For her, spending a night in our hotel in Chamonix is a mean to deeply rest and suspend time. Her artwork shows the auberge build on a bridge, hanging over the void.
